FuelScope Terms of Use

Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your use of FuelScope, provided by Butlerson LLC ("Butlerson," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using FuelScope, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. FuelScope Functionality
FuelScope provides tools for recording and reviewing vehicle, fuel, mileage, trip, station, and fuel-price information.
FuelScope is a tracking and organization tool. It is not a navigation service, financial service, automotive repair service, safety service, or guarantee of fuel savings.
3. User-Entered Information
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into FuelScope.
You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of important records. Exported backup files should be stored securely. FuelScope is not a substitute for maintaining independent records. Butlerson is not responsible for loss of information resulting from device failure, application deletion, operating-system changes, failed backups, or user error, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Maps, Location, Stations, and Fuel Prices
Map, location, gas-station, and fuel-price features may depend on Apple or other third-party services. FuelScope uses Apple MapKit and Core Location for map and location features and may use Apple's map search services to identify nearby gas stations.
Information may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. You should verify fuel prices, station availability, directions, and safety information independently.
Do not use FuelScope while driving or in a way that distracts you from operating a vehicle safely.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
FuelScope may offer optional FuelScope Pro purchases or subscriptions through Apple's App Store.
FuelScope Pro currently includes features such as multiple-vehicle tracking, vehicle comparison, and expanded CSV and PDF reporting. Additional features may be added to FuelScope Pro in the future.
FuelScope Pro may be offered through monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. The available plans, prices, introductory offers, renewal terms, and features included with each plan are displayed in the application and through Apple's App Store purchase interface before purchase.
Prices may vary by country or region. Butlerson may change future prices, plans, features, or offer availability, subject to Apple's applicable rules and any notice required by law.
Apple processes payments and manages billing through your Apple Account. Apple also controls subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds, subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies. Butlerson does not receive or store your complete payment-card information through FuelScope.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged within 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
Deleting the FuelScope application does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Introductory offers, when available, are offered only to eligible customers and may be available only once within the applicable subscription group. Eligibility is determined by Apple. After an introductory offer ends, the subscription renews at the regular price displayed before purchase unless cancelled.
A lifetime FuelScope Pro purchase is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew. Lifetime access applies to the FuelScope Pro feature set offered with the applicable purchase, subject to these Terms and any limitations disclosed at the time of purchase. Lifetime access does not include services or features that are separately identified as requiring an additional purchase or subscription.
FuelScope is not responsible for subscription billing, payment processing, renewal, cancellation, or refund decisions made by Apple. Refund requests must be handled through Apple's applicable support and refund procedures.
6. License
Subject to these Terms, Butlerson grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FuelScope for personal lawful purposes. You may use FuelScope only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with Apple's applicable App Store terms and policies.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, misuse, or interfere with the application.
7. Ownership
FuelScope, including its software, design, branding, text, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Butlerson LLC and is protected by applicable law.
8. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of FuelScope. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or iOS version.
9. Disclaimers
FuelScope is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Butlerson disclaims warranties regarding accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Butlerson will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of FuelScope.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to FuelScope where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse. You may stop using the application at any time.
12. Apple App Store Terms
FuelScope is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of FuelScope must also comply with Apple's applicable terms and policies. Apple is not responsible for FuelScope, its content, maintenance, support, or warranty obligations.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FuelScope after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
